I was just always grabbing the IPAD to e-mail and calendar appointment, but sometimes I could not find it check, as it was somewhere in the house. So now I have the HP TouchSmart for a month, and I think it is very good, but there is still room for improvement. First, the screen is big and grand. It is responsive and precise touch applications for Windows 7 plus and the processor is fast. It is quiet and boots, which is the key to fast for me. The touch Apps are a mixed bag. The calendar app is a huge dissapointment because it is intended to synchronize with Google and it does not work at all. It is a key component of the reason I got the computer so the family is the calendar we all have and all that can share the access. Perhaps it will be an update? The recipe app is useful because it loads recipes that you find online. The notes app is ok, as you can post to see it leave marks on the screen for others. The picture is like Picasso App from Google with fast access to an online photo service. Compared to the IPAD, of course, the apps have a long way to go, but HP has done a step in the right direction. I would pay $ 5 for apps for the touch screen if they use as well as those on the IPAD every day I (as Calengoo, informant, or some of the games were). Perhaps it should have an HP App Store on this? In any case, I am very happy with my purchase and would do it again. I looked at the Sony Vaio but do not feel I needed in order to pay extra for the name and I am glad that I did not. Plus worked, the wireless connection completely out of the box and saw my HP printer straight up. Setup was a breeze and took 5 minutes max. I was just always grabbing the IPAD to e-mail and calendar appointment, but sometimes I could not find it check, as it was somewhere in the house. So now I have the HP TouchSmart for a month, and I think it is very good, but there is still room for improvement. First, the screen is big and grand. It is responsive and precise touch applications for Windows 7 plus and the processor is fast. It is quiet and boots, which is the key to fast for me. The touch Apps are a mixed bag. The calendar app is a huge dissapointment because it is intended to synchronize with Google and it does not work at all. It is a key component of the reason I got the computer so the family is the calendar we all have and all that can share the access. Perhaps it will be an update? The recipe app is useful because it loads recipes that you find online. The notes app is ok, as you can post to see it leave marks on the screen for others. The picture is like Picasso App from Google with fast access to an online photo service. Compared to the IPAD, of course, the apps have a long way to go, but HP has done a step in the right direction. I would pay $ 5 for apps for the touch screen if they use as well as those on the IPAD every day I (as Calengoo, informant, or some of the games were). Perhaps it should have an HP App Store on this? In any case, I am very happy with my purchase and would do it again. I looked at the Sony Vaio but do not feel I needed in order to pay extra for the name and I am glad that I did not. Plus worked, the wireless connection completely out of the box and saw my HP printer straight up. Setup was a breeze and took 5 minutes max. Highly recommended, if you try a touch-screen desktop like.
